Hello World!

Hi, I'm Anuj Gupta, a seasoned AI executive with over 20 years in core AI, leading end-to-end AI initiatives at the CXO level. I've spearheaded AI efforts and built AI systems in startups (0-1, 1-n) as well as Fortune 50 companies, some of these led to acquisitions and IPOs. I have led multiple teams & efforts that developed commercially successful AI products and features contributing significantly to revenue & Org KPIs. I’ve led AI teams of 5-80 people spanning multiple geographies, managing the entire team & lifecycle of AI projects. I’ve worked very closely with Founders and my C-suite peers across Business, Product, Engineering, Sales, and HR to drive KPIs at organizational level. Notably, I led AI efforts at (possibaly) India’s first startup funded for its AI-first approach (back in 2013)!

Now, I run Gradient Advisors, a bespoke AI consulting firm. We coach founders, VCs, and CXOs and consult startups and MNCs to navigate the AI journey efficiently. Our expertise spans the entire spectrum of AI journey: from fundraising, AI strategy, and use case identification to implementation, production, operationalizing AI, go-to-market strategies, sales, nurturing world-class AI teams and setting up AI Centers of Excellence (CoE). Unlike most other consulting firms, we dont just focus on technical aspects but we focus on outcomes from AI efforts. For this we work across the entire spectrum of AI journey. If you are or aspire to be a AI first organization, thats where we bring the great value proposition.

I also authored a landmark book in AI. The book gives a pragmatic view of how to do AI when you are part of product teams rather than research labs. The book was #1 new release on Amazon.com. The book has been endorsed by globally top AI leaders, academicians & researchers including those from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), University of California San Diego (UCSD), DeepMind, Google AI, Amazon Science, Microsoft Research (MSR), Cohere, Spotify, Meta, and YC startups including Airbnb & SharpestMinds. The book, already translated into 5 languages and cited over 200 times, is used by 50+ universities globally in their AI curriculum.
